What should I expect when I arrive on Sunday mornings at Sidney First?
  • Visitor parking is provided in front of the main entrance you see to the left when you first enter our parking lot from the south drive.  Our greeters will welcome you as you enter the lobby.

 What will my children and teens do while I'm here on Sunday mornings?

  • We have age appropriate  Sunday School classes for children age 3 through 5th grades at 9:30am on Sundays.  During this same time slot we also offer two classes for youth, one for grades 6-8 and one for grades 9-12.  We also offer classes for adults.
  • Children's Church and Pre-School Church begin at 10:30 while our teens and adults are in the main worship service. 
  • Childcare for infants through the age of three is available throughout the morning. 

How long is your worship service?

  • Our service lasts about 75 minutes.
 
What should I wear to worship at Sidney First?
  • Here at Sidney First Church of the Nazarene you will find people dressed comfortably.  Some will wear business attire, some will wear jeans and a t-shirt.  Please know that you are welcome to come as you are, so dress as you feel comfortable!

What are some ways that I can connect at Sidney First?
  • For adults two of the major ways that people connect with other people are through our small group ministry which meets on Sunday Nights and our Sunday School Ministry which meets on Sunday Mornings at 9:30am throughout our facility.
  • For youth grades 6-12 we offer our youth ministry.  We currently have youth meeting during our Sunday School time slot at 9:30am.  Our youth also have a special service just teens on Sunday Evenings at 6pm.  We also offer a mid-week gathering at 7pm on Wednesday Evenings.
  • Our Children's ministry offers Sunday School at 9:30am on Sundays as well as Children's Church at 10:30am and Slamin' Sunday's at 6pm on Sunday Evening.
