First Day Checklist
  • Messages to the administrator should be in writing when possible.
  • Parents must notify the office in writing if anyone other than AUTHORIZED PERSONS will be PICKING UP their child.
  • Notify the office of any CHANGES in information concerning your child (i.e. change of address, phone number, parent employment, etc.)
  • If your child is ILL or must be ABSENT for any reason, please notify the office.
  • Coats, jackets, sweaters, caps and other clothing should be CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CHILD'S NAME.  An extra change of clothes is recommended for all children enrolled in Kiddieland.
  • Visiting Kiddieland is encouraged.  You are welcome to observe and visit your child at any time that is compatible with the daily schedule of their group.  Please contact the office when you plan to visit.
  • Each class will have seasonal parties.  Teachers may ask help from parents in supplying decorations and/or refreshments.  We also like to celebrate each child's birthday.  Parents may provide refreshments, take pictures, etc.  You should notify the teacher if you are providing refreshments.  (Miniature cupcakes or cookies only)
  • Written reports of your child's progress and development in the areas of social, physical, and academics will be sent home on a regular basis.
  • Parent-teacher conferences will be held once each year and at other times when a teacher or parent feels one is necessary.
  • A roster including names and telephone numbers of parents (with parental permission) will be available to parents upon request.
  • MAILBOXES ARE PROVIDED FOR EACH CHILD.  Please check the boxes every day for papers and important communication from the administer and teachers.
  • Naptime is provided for all children after the noon meal.  Cots or cribs are provided for naps.  Children may bring a travel size pillow and a small blanket.
  • Personal toys should not be brought to Kiddieland except on designated days.  WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR BROKEN TOYS.
  • We are required by law to report any possible evidence of child abuse or neglect. 
  • A two week notice is required if you wish to withdraw your child from the center.
