A child may return to Kiddieland after 24 hours of being free from symptoms/fever and/or with a doctor’s notice.

All staff listed on the Medical and Dental Emergency Plan posted in each room have been trained in First Aid and communicable disease by a licensed physician or RN.  A medical and dental emergency plan is available upon request.

Hand washing procedures are stressed to all teachers and children.  Signs showing proper sanitation are posted by sinks in classrooms and restrooms.

The Ohio “Child Daycare Center Communicable Disease Chart” is posted in the Administrator’s office.

Parents will be notified when their child has been exposed to a communicable disease.

These health policies will apply to all children and staff within the confines of Kiddieland Preschool & Daycare Learning Center.

The Administrator is to be consulted before any child is sent home sick.  In the Administrator’s absence, the designated staff member will make the judgment in determining if the child’s condition is contagious and therefore endangering the health of the other children in the center.
