- To instill in each child a feeling of
autonomy and a positive self-concept.

- To provide a joyful, enthusiastic, and
spontaneous approach with children.

- To meet each child's physical needs.
|
- To establish the foundations for respect
for others-social development.

- To establish the foundations for respect
for equipment.

- To provide for the language development
that is so important for young children.

- To make available a good variety and
quantity of materials on the shelves at the child's level. (manipulative's,
dramatic play, pull toys, etc.)

- To provide ample opportunity for use of
gross motor skills.
|
- To develop their social and emotional
skills through sharing and playing together.
|
- To develop their gross motor skills by
learning to bounce and catch a ball and clapping to music.
|
- To develop fine motor skills by holding a
crayon or pencil with fingers rather than fist and cutting with
scissors.
|
- To develop their cognitive sills by
recognizing some letters or the alphabet and recognizing numbers from
1 to 9.

- To develop their self help skills by
using good manners and putting toys away.
